Really gorgeous island and campsite. There's running water, a shower and decent toilets on site. It's a very short walk from otehei bay where the ferry leaves you and there's a restaurant there which serves decent food and drinks. There's no gas or cooking facilities but we brought our own portable BBQ. We went as a group of mid- twenty year old friends. It had a definite family feel. While we were far from a rowdy crowd, we got a frosty reception from fellow campers for being awake and chatting after 10pm
