Ein bisschen weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Die Badezimmer sind alt und fallen auseinander (Fliesen lassen Verlust und sehr klein). Die Küche wird erneuert. Der Bereich des Campingplatzes fühlt sich nicht geschützt. Ich würde Kinder nicht außerhalb des Campingplatzes spielen lassen, nachdem die Sonne untergegangen ist. Die Küche schloss um 9 Uhr und öffnete um 7 Uhr.

Campground is in a good spot where we could walk down the street to view the lake at sunset & get picked up for our dinner at the Mitai Māori Village. The bathrooms were in good shape & the showers had hot water and good pressure. I’m sure it’s even worse in the summer months, but being so close to the water, there was quite a few mosquitos. The kitchen space isn’t as big as some other paid sites, but still has basically anything you’d need.

Some good bits some not so good. Bad bits: Dump station still not operational, no date for reopening, no information given on the booking details/email etc. Still advertised on the Web site. Toilet block dated but good hot showers and nice and warm. Good bits. Good location for walking into town or to the gondola. Level pitches done with hedges between. On site hot pools are a great bonus and trump some the bad bits. Some of the staff were great some were clearly having a bad day!

If there is no other place to stay it’s fine for a night. But this place is just run down. Kitchen was supposed to open at 7am, but they didn’t open the doors until after 8 am. Not so nice if you want to have an early morning leave.

Much in need of renovation in most areas although the kitchen was functional. , Hot showers good but cubicles very poor. Renovation picture on wall but no date for completion. Hot tubs very hot but rather shoddy surroundings, don’t expect a spa experience. No water on our pitch, only electricity and the dump station out of action with no ETA. WiFi advertised as free but only free for first 300MB after that you pay per day. Quiet site from external noise with helpful staff on the plus side.

Wenn Sie länger bleiben, würde ich einen anderen Campingside empfehlen.

Wir bezahlten $177 für eine "Ocean View" -Site. Es war kein Meerblick - wir waren vier Reihen vom Wasser zurück mit mehreren RVs vor uns. Der Campingplatz ist extrem überfüllt. RVs, Autos und Familien sind eng zusammen mit sehr wenig Platz zwischen den Standorten gepackt. Wir kamen mit unserem Baby in der Hoffnung auf einen erholsamen Tag am Pool, aber es war so beschäftigt, dass es keine Sitzplätze gab. Für den Preis, das fühlte sich überverkauft und schlecht verwaltet.

Angemessener Preis, Gehweite zum Zentrum von Rotorura, kostenlose Whirlpools vor Ort und kleiner Pool. Thermalbereich hinter und heißer Strand. Küchenbereich ausreichend, eigene Töpfe und Töpfe benötigt. Duschen heiß

Heiße Duschen, gute Küche. ruhig und einfach zu Fuß in die Stadt. Wir haben es so sehr geliebt, dass wir eine zusätzliche Nacht verbracht haben.

Not a bad site at all it is dated but has everything you need. Geothermal activity on the site which is cool. Free hot showers. Free hot tubs. Free cooking area with plenty space. Overall nice camp site.
