Awesome spot

Cool spot! Directions are a little wonky so make sure to put in Monkey Bay Walk on google! For sure follow the stone steps.

Cool spot to stop and explore. Bring a head torch to explore the cave to the left just before the stairs. The lookout is pretty and although not a perfect clear day would be awesome to see the Nth Island from this spot. The walk down from the lookout is very short just watch little people or pets if you have them with you.

Glowworms are 2min walk from carpark. Go before the stairs left. It was a bit creepy though but beautiful. We only saw 6 of them as we didn t stay too long

Great especially for the glow worm caves!!! Before the step you take left and follow in the forest for 2min. Enjoy the start as you go out

The small beach at the end of the walk is amazing! And there are two caves where you can find glowworms - we went there after 10 am. And there where loads of them!

The bay isn’t that beautiful this is the end of our South Island trip and have seen amazing beautiful beaches along the way this bay doesn’t even come close... Sandfly Bay in the Otago is fabulous!!!

Very nice area, glow worms in the cave. Easy walk to the blow hole.

A very beautiful bay with caves and gloworms too see. However the name was a bit misleading as there were no monkeys. We drove from Queenstown to see monkeys and were upset that we couldn't see any.

We arrived pretty late and couldn't see any monkeys... Beautiful beach though!
