Great place! Bonus of being the only campervan due to winter. Kim the owner very pleasant and helpful. V quiet here, just the dawn chorus which was fab. Clean facilities. Would recommend

Wir kamen und alles war geschlossen.Wir wurden von einer sehr unfreundlichen Dame keine freie Stelle gesagt, was eindeutig nicht wahr war (keine Sorge, keine einzige Person) Die Tür wurde geschlossen, keine Informationen auf der Website
“Hallo, wir sind sehr überrascht von Ihrem Kommentar oben. Wir sind uns nicht sicher, wo Sie Ihre Meinung geformt haben, dass es hier keine einzige Person gab? Unsere Gäste gehen entweder zur Arbeit oder erkunden den Fernen Norden sowohl tagsüber als auch nachts. Wir hatten ein NO-VACANCY-Zeichen, ein geschlossenes Tor aus diesem Grund und der Grund, warum Sie nicht auf der Website buchen konnten, war, weil wir voll reserviert waren!!!! Die meisten unserer Gäste haben 5 Tage bis 6 Monate geblieben. Wir schlagen vor, dass Sie vorab buchen, vor allem in der Höhe der Saison, um sicherzustellen, dass Sie dort bleiben, wo Sie wollen. Wir finden es wirklich enttäuschend, dass Sie eine solche negative Bewertung schreiben, weil wir Ihnen geraten, dass wir vollständig gebucht wurden, aber Sie haben den Mut, Ihnen vorzuschlagen, dass”
We stayed at Kim's campsite for the last two nights. Kim is very helpful and friendly. The campsite is very clean. If you have a reservation you can open the gate at the entrance and drive through.

“Not sure who wrote this review but we certainly are not closed. We did do some maintenance in September which took a couple of days and ONLY for those days didn't accept guests in the Park. It is disappointing that people write incorrect information on this Site.”
Such a warm welcome at Kim’s place. She was very communicative prior to our arrival and we felt very well looked after (hygiene and Covid protocols were ?). We were able to have a hot shower, do some laundry, refill our drinking water and have a peaceful night’s rest. We also took a BBQ down to Taipā Beach and had a swim and dinner by the beach (20 mins’ drive).

Gate is shut, bookings only. No kitchen as such just a sink outside and a toaster, microwave etc in the laundry room. Washing machine small runs in 4$ per load honesty box. Wifi not going. A bit noisy with traffic and dogs barking. Lovely grounds and parking for campers. Playground for kids unfortunately pool closed .
“Hello thanks for your review. We are a bit surprised at your comment re the noise as we only receive positive comments on how quiet it is here as per other reviews on this Site and elsewhere. We certainly don't have barking dogs. We were unaware that you had an issue with Wifi to the best of our knowledge it was working fine when you stayed. We also advertise our pool as seasonal on all websites and apps. We used to have it open throughout Winter but in 13 years no one has wanted to swim in it at that time of the year.”
Fantastic stay at a wonderful place. Very friendly and helpful owner who managed to fit us in at the last minute at a very busy time (had to change plans, due to gas fridge fault we needed power). Lovely facilities that are kept clean and tidy. Play ground for the kids and a swimming pool available for use. Beautiful grounds that are well kept.

Wonderful stay. Very helpful and nice owner. She went out of her way to help us. Good clean facilities! Very recommendable. Good place to stay when doing the Harrison’s Cape Runner, which is a great (and cheap!) tour.
