Alles war in Ordnung. sehr bequeme Lage. -ein wenig Lärm wegen der Straße -keine Probleme mit den Einheimischen -andere Camper waren da, die uns definitiv sicherer fühlten -flush Toiletten, die sauber waren (zumindest die Frauen) & offen 24/7. -Trinkwasser auf dem Spielplatz -perfektes Funkensignal

Ein sehr entspannter freier Campingplatz. Wir waren hier für eine Woche, alle Tuttifrutti. Es gab nur eine Sache. Ein Händler kam am Abend zu uns und wollte uns Gras für einen kleinen Tank anbieten, den er brauchte. Der Deal war $ 10 Bargeld gegen $ 10 Tank, die wir mit einer Karte bezahlen würden. Nachdem er $ 30 am nahe gelegenen Tank abgeschnitten hatte, warnte er uns mit einem Stein in der Hand, dass es keine weitere Entschädigung geben würde.

Wenn der Park voller Camper ist, wird es gerettet. Wenn Sie der einzige Camper sind, bleiben Sie nicht. Es ist direkt neben der Straße und laute Lastwagen fahren bis spät und früh. Es gibt eine saubere Toilette und wir waren gut hier ein paar Nächte zu bleiben. Aber wir würden auf jeden Fall nicht empfehlen, hier zu bleiben

‼️🚫I would not stay here as we were here less than 3 hours and watched a marital dispute and had gang members come up to us asking for things. We left to find somewhere else to stay

Really convenient place, with clean drinking water, and clean toilets. Even in the low season, the parking lot was filled with campers.

Carpark is adjacent to: • toilets (reasonable) & playground (looks great - lots of equipment) • the main road through town so is noisy in the morning. There were 6+ vehicles overnight when I stayed, & no disturbance from any unsavoury characters.

Good spot for one night. 6 parks emplacement beside the road, but it’s not a huge problem Bea cause there are not many traffic during the night. The toilets are clean and just in front of the parking.

I stayed here for one night. There was total 4 vans parked. Parking lot next to the main road ( not that busy during the night) . Eve security guard present here, looking after your safety ( camping in his car for the whole night). Toilets clean. No shower. Hot shower for 3 dollars available in Kaitaia (pool) 7 minutes drive.

Be careful & lock your vehicles at all times including when you're sleeping. An off duty security guard stayed the night watching this camp spot as a known thief was loitering around & people have had belongings stolen from their cars whilst staying here. I'd avoid if you were a female alone.

Near the road, very little space for a lot of car. Vibe was off, don’t feeling it at all, I went to another place
