Guter freier Campingplatz, sehr nahe der via ferrata für den Morgen. Eine saubere Toilette. Sites nicht sehr flach, aber gut für eine Nacht. Hauptstraßenverkehr ist nicht schlecht und der Aussichtspunkt ist schön.

Der perfekte Ort für ein Freiheitscamp.

Excellent free camps for the night

Turned up at 7pm and still plenty of space (thankfully after a foggy windy mountain drive!) Toilets were fine and viewpoint is gorgeous. Very conventional for the via ferrata. No other facilities.

A good spot for an overnight stay. There's a lovely viewpoint just a short walk away. The toilet is clean and in good condition, but unfortunately there's no water. The campsite is right next to the road, but there's very little traffic at night.

Currently closed and you can't spend the night there etc.

We slept here for two nights. The first night there was enough space for a lot of campers because everyone parked close together on the right side. The second night there wasn't enough space because everyone parked on the left and left big gaps between them. It depends when you arrive. Nice view and good toilet. It doesn't smell, but it's full of mosquitoes in the evening.

Underwhelming, next to the road and no view from the spot itself. Toilet was HORRIBLE, no running water. Would skip this one, go to canaan downs instead. Trust me

Nice easy spot on the way to Tākaka. Fills up quick but can fit 10 vans.

Unfortunately closed as four are being renovated.
