laufende Autos die ganze Nacht und Leute ziehen direkt neben meinem Auto, obwohl der gesamte Parkplatz frei war. Ich war völlig allein als Solo-Frau-Reisende und hatte kein Telefon-Signal. musste um 2 Uhr nachts in ein anderes Freiheitscamping wechseln, weil ein Auto multispile Kreise rund um den Parkplatz fuhr, in jeder Runde direkt hinter meinem Auto stoppte und schlug. Schlimmste Camping-Erfahrung und fühlte sich nicht sicher!

Toilet Out of order No internet signal Nice beach but we didn’t sleep in this place

A constant stream of cars going back and forth all night, hiding behind a specific tree looking for something specific? You never know. It was really scary for a solo woman; I didn't sleep a wink, I was alone at the campsite. Especially since a car decided to park right next to me at 3 a.m., as if trying to force me out (there were no other cars and plenty of space). Anyway… avoid it.

Nice location, safe from the wind and quiet. 3 campervan seats and 1 for tents. Separated from small hills that leaves a very pleasant privacy during a quiet night by the sea. Toilets, tap and toilet papers on site. No telephone reception. Beautiful beach against the bottom!

Beautiful beach and cliffs at sunset. Level pitch and very quiet night. Great views of Mt Taranaki on the road in. Toilets good but as others have said, take a torch!

We pulled in at 4:30pm and saw 6 campervans. We didn’t want to break the rules so moved on. Beautiful site though.

Nice spot by the beach, didn’t feel spooky. There was no service, the toilets where clean but dark so take a head torch even in the day. The sign says 3 vehicles max, but there is space for a few more.

We travelled as a couple with a dog, in winter, maybe that made a difference... We were a bit spooked and unsure if going to this spot because of the previous reviews.. but we still tried it out and it has been fine with us. We arrived at 8pm, maybe 2 cars drove in&out around at 9/10pm, but nothing else "weird". Friendly walkers the next morning. No phone signal.

Schöner Sonnenuntergang auf dem schwarzen Sandstrand, aber kein Telefonsignal. Die Toiletten waren geöffnet, als wir ankamen, aber sie waren um 7:30 Uhr gesperrt und waren immer noch nicht bis 8 Uhr am nächsten Morgen geöffnet.. Es sagt, dass es hier selbst enthalten ist, aber es gibt ein Stück Gras mit einem Zeichen für nicht selbst enthaltene Fahrzeuge, so dass wir hier in unserem Schlafwagen gezogen und hatten keine Probleme. großartiger Ort, wenn Sie den nächsten Tag nach Egmont fahren.
