So funny ! We spent a lot of time watching bubbles and trying to predict the pattern of bursting bubbles. Really recommend it !

Worth it! Riecht wie arsch but we really liked it! I heard it’s a dragon… ?

Best free attraction weve seen in our North Island travels. Absolutely mesmerising, could watch the bubbling mud all day!

Superb - we could have spent ages watching the thoroughly unpredictable bubbling mud. A short and free detour off the main road, even if you aren't going right into Wai-o-tapu.

Pretty cool to look at. Who’d have thought bubbling mud could be so mesmerising to watch lol. Definitely recommend and lots of parking too

Impressive! But sometimes I almost vomited. : D

A must stop to see this surprising bubbling mud bath especially when you leave Waitopu

Mud boiling, an unusual scene that is well worth a detour!

If you're on the road between Taupo and Rotorua, it's definitely worth stopping! It's super fun to see
