Wir mochten diesen Ort, da wir wirklich die Whirlpools und auf dem Gelände Restaurant / Bar schätzen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und einladend. Nur der Nachteil war, dass WiFi nicht funktionierte, blieb abschalten und wenn es verbunden war, würde es nur ein paar Dinge laden und dann stoppen. Bad WIFI scheint bei jedem Park zu sein, den wir in NZ geblieben haben, aber es ist nicht etwas, das ich gegen diesen halten würde! Die Lage des Parks ist auch großartig, da es direkt in der Stadt und in der Nähe von Spaziergängen / Cafés ist.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Wir blieben hier für zwei Nächte und bezahlten 40NZD für zwei Personen pro Nacht in einem angetriebenen Standort. Die Standorte sind nahe beieinander, aber es fühlte sich privat (Bäume und Picknick-Tische trennen die Standorte). Die Einrichtungen sind neu und sauber. Es gibt nur zwei Duschen für jedes Geschlecht, aber wir hatten keine Warteschlange. Die Küche ist spezifisch und hatte: Ofen, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Keller (keine Töpfe und Tischwaren). Die Dumpstation ist in der Nähe, aber der Winkel war ein bisschen peinlich für das graue Wasser.

Großer Park mit sauberen Einrichtungen und sehr angemessenen Preisen für das, was Sie bekommen.

Was für ein großartiger Ort. Der Name Retreat ist bang auf. Ich habe in einigen sehr high-end-Hotels auf der ganzen Welt geblieben, aber dies war bei weitem mein Favorit.

Brilliant site! Free hot tub, sauna, central location, hot showers, large communal area. Strongly reccomend!

Fantastic campsite. The powered sites are set into dense vegetation so that it is very private. The facilities are excellent, and more renovations on the way. Free hot tub and sauna available. We woke up to birdsong and Kias flying around. Our favourite campsite yet!!

We loved this campsite! Although they don’t offer an unpowered site we just paid for a powered site as it was cheap enough. The $60 for a night included the use of the 2 Spa’s and Saunas, all facilities and free wifi too. The lounge area was cosy and the Kitchen was clean but basic and didn’t offer any pans or utensils. Was everything we needed for a night & would’ve happily done a couple nights here, would recommend :)

Nice park with lots of sites & nice common facilities. The sauna and hot tubs are quite small for so many people staying there so it’s crowded. The 5m van sites are very close together, so much so me and my neighbor couldn’t open our car doors at the same time but overall it’s nice and clean.

Good campsite with nice clean amenities and a brilliant kitchen. Only downside is the lip on the dump station makes it hard to dump grey water. Would recommend using the public dump station round the corner instead!

It’s fine. The spaces are very small and you are very close to the van next to you. The trees are pretty but it’s not like it looks on Instagram. Sauna is big enough for about 2 people. Showers only cleaned once a day and not many for how many campers. Kitchen and bathroom is inside. Other places nearby seem similar though
