Μείναμε για μια νύχτα και είχαμε μια καλή εμπειρία. Η καθαρότερη και πιο όμορφη αρωματική μακρινή τουαλέτα που έχω δει ποτέ! Αρκετά μικρό χώρο για τους κατασκηνωτές αλλά ακόμα καλό! Υπέροχο και χαλαρωτικό ρεύμα ακριβώς δίπλα του. Ήταν μεγάλη για εμάς και το σκυλί μας.

No shower. No running water. The toilet smells of urine. There are no designated places to park the camper, so you'll have to search carefully for a spot. There's no running water. There's a water point that uses rainwater. This site is not recommended.

Mistletoe Flat Campsite Basic DOC Campsite for $15 pp a night. Allows dogs which is great. DOC website says space for 10 which is probably accurate with multiple wee pull over spots for you to park up. Some areas are boggy so beware. Toilet is a long drop, but was well equipped and smelt nice. Has a covered cooking area with a sink and water which is nice. $15 perhaps a bit steep (maybe $10). But it is off the road and relatively quiet even though it is close to the road.

Great for a one-night stay. Nice area and a fantastic walk up the hill (which, as usual, doesn’t take quite as long as DOC times suggest if you’re reasonably fit). Just far enough off the road not to be disturbed by noise. Quite a few cars driving through to/from some sort of outdoor ed site further down the road but that was during school holidays so probably an infrequent event. Marginal phone signal with 2degrees for texts/calls and occasionally 3G data.

Quiet area to put down your campervan. Toilet available. But a lot of mosquitoes due to the proximity to a small river.

Not close to the road so nice and quiet. Quite a small sight but there was no one else there when I was there on a rainy night in November. Long drop toilet, running water and a shelter. Pretty stream too. The sight isn't sign posted from the road, but just carry on up the gravel track and you will find it.

Loved this little spot. Off the road so nice and quiet at night. A sweet little stream running through and lovely birdsong in the morning.

Nice spot to break the journey. DOC ranger was friendly and had helpful tips for local walks. Dogs were fine on leads.

Nice little doc campsite! Bring sandfly spray. You can take your dog (on a leash) and walk Helicopter Hill. Toilet was fine. Water from the stream (boil first). Shelter from rain if needed.
