Όμορφο μέρος στη φύση. Εξαιρετικά ήσυχο. Μείναμε εδώ τον Ιανουάριο και ήμασταν οι μόνοι άνθρωποι στον καταυλισμό. Τέλεια αν ψάχνετε για κάτι πολύ απομακρυσμένο. Θα συμβούλευα να μην παρκάρετε το φορτηγό σας πολύ μακριά πίσω με βαριά βροχή. Το χορτάρι φαινόταν κάπως λυγισμένο. Δεν υπάρχει τηλεφωνική υποδοχή. Υπάρχει ένας αρκετά χάλκινος δρόμος προς τον καταυλισμό αλλά ήταν σχετικά καλά συντηρημένος.

Cute little campsite in the bush. Large covered table area and averagely clean toilets. Some local kids maybe have been bringing vehicles to the area and making mud tracks on the green, so could use some upkeep from DOC as a part of the area is unsuitable for tents. Long gravel access road with beautiful farms along the way.

Εύκολο να πάρετε ένα μικρό καραβάνι κάτω και παρκαρισμένο. Ωραία γρασίδι περιοχές και πολύ ήσυχο. Υπέροχα πεζοπορία που κυμαίνονται από 30 λεπτά μέχρι πλήρη σε σκαμπανεβάσματα σε καλύβες βαθιά μέσα στα tararuas.

Lovely spot in nature, with very clean flush toilets and nice hiking trails nearby. A pity that the local youth thought the same (on a Saturday), yet their music turned down around 10pm.

Lovely little campsite. Nice short loop walk through the bush. Toilet block fine and nice cooking shelter if needed. Would come back!

Fantastic walk through giant redwoods & native bush. We drove our 7.7m motorhome along the very narrow gravel road & 3 oncoming cars JUST squeezed past us. Gorgeous spot

A tranquil little haven at the end of a narrow road. We came here to shelter from the wind and loved it, surrounded by forest, babbling streams and beautiful forest trails far from the crowds.

Highly recommended. Quiet and lots of space. Rinsing toilets (no toilet paper for women) and wash basin available (water should be boiled before drinking). A shelter closed on two sides with table and benches. No electricity. Payment goes through honesty box. A few walks are available, the loop can be run in about 30 minutes. The last kilometers to the camp site are Gravel Road (sometimes very narrow). No cell phone reception (Vodafone).

One of our favs - lovely site with basic toilets but right at the start of some great trails. Great to take the dog.

Nice campsite on the way to wellington. Good facilities and not too many people around. Nice walks, blue range hut is close and has great view. Recommend staying a night there if you got the time and gear.
