I don’t believe there are toilet facilities at Whian Whian Falls and this can lead to unhygienic use of the bush to relieve themselves.
The car park is very small and there was no signs pointing to where to go, the path was difficult to find at first. While the falls might be lovely you need to be half mountain goat to climb down to them.
Hi! I am a Whian Whian resident and we have noticed an increasing number of people accessing the falls over recent years. Its great visitors want to get out and about and experience the region. At times though this has brought on some issues from those who are not respectful of the experience. The Whian Whian community requests that all visitors park responsibly, we have noted many choosing to park in areas where they encroach on the road. This has resulted in blockages for access for residents,
If you're nearby, it's worth going to the waterfall. The waterfall was not signposted, but the directions were correct. There is a small parking lot & then you walk about 5 minutes to the waterfall. A few locals went swimming here. :-)
