Stunning place, tottaly recommend.
We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was great. You can tell the area is still recovering from fires but we did a walk from the campground to Hergatys Bay and enjoyed it. Sunset at the beach is also beautiful! Drop toilets and no showers - remember to bring your own water.
Dump toilet has lots of flies. Nice beach and great trails along the coast.
Campground was closed on 09.02 due to fires previously in the area. Check before going
Great location - close to beach, amazing views and secluded so we had the beach all to ourselves. No shower, long-drop toilet and a water tap outside (not for drinking). Entrance - make sure you go through Duck Road as the other entrance leads you through a much, much longer dirt and uneven road.
Loved this site so much. About 8km of dirt road which had a few potholes and was very uneven in places. We managed slowly in a 2wd. Only 5 campsites which you need to book online. Long drop toilet absolutely fine with a water tap outside of it (not for drinking). Picnic bench in the day use area. Access to a stunning, secluded beach via an easy 300m track.
A hidden gem! Steps to beaches and rich with wild life. Kangaroos, birds and lizards. Must book ahead. Highly recommended.
Great Spot. We woke up and next to our tent was a kanguroo family enjoying the morgning sun...
