Great walk. Took about 5 hours in total. Path is very beautiful from forest to bush to scrubs to beach to pebble walk to rocky way and finally the figure 8 pools. Worth the effort. Must check tides as it can get very dangerous.
Lovely walk. You will need hiking shoes for sure and to check the tide and swell before going. We where there at low tide but too much waves and it was terribly dangerous. Really check the swell or you may go there for nothing
We visited the pool today. The route took us through beautiful countryside to a beautiful beach. On the rocks along the coast, we reached the pool (sturdy footwear is definitely a must). It is also important to come at low tide, or already in declining water and as soon as the tide comes back again evaporate. about the tides you can online information that are not every day at the same time. Also important references to specific pages is to check. In certain circumstances, one should not visit this place. With us from the weather ago were good conditions. Every now and then slapped the waves against Plato and washed over the rocks and pools. In a wave very many people were knocked down with and suddenly the entire pool were deserted. A woman had both legs, especially the shin torn, her husband had probably broken ribs, a fully scratched side and also a lot of other people had been injured and bleeding. This place really should not be underestimated. It's very nice, but can also very quickly be incredibly dangerous. We did not think it and were now disabused.
