We went at high tide and hung around for a while for the tide to actually change. We ended up seeing loads of crocs. Also fun to drive over the crossing

Definitely go here when it is just before high tide. We saw 40+ crocs getting ready to feed and then the show started! If you take the path leading you just to the left side of the crossing (not the opposite side though😇!) you can sit on the boulders and are even closer. But also the more crowded platform on the right side gives very interesting views.

Tip - make sure you check the height of the high tide Needs to be a decent tide- we went on a 4.5m tide and saw no change in the water level Needs a “high” high tide

Loads of crocs crossing at high tide. And one on the bank. ???

We sat down twice during high tide with many other people, but only saw a glimpse of a croc only. But there are many other things to see, cars trying to cross, aboriginals fishing, birds fishing etc.
