We did Trephina gorge walk. Less than 1hour. Nice track but we did King canyon before so when i walking the track feel like similar. And you have to drive in gravel road 4km before get entrant was not too bad.
We did the Trephina Gorge Walk (ca 1,7 km) that goes to the top and then down to the creek. Really hot at 12 am. Nice walk, beautiful colours, nice view of the gorge. Warning: creek was almost 100% dry and no waterholes. A lot of flies. Bring your flyhat! Most of the road going there is gravel.
We've only done the short walk but that was lovely. The longer walks take you to lookouts above the gorge!
Great views ! Peacefull and 5 Walks. Camping fee is very low and you have Nice spots with free bbq, some water and toilet (without water). A must do if you are in the east area of Alice Springs.
