Campground in Southern Queensland Country, Queensland Australia
This grassy and open area with no facilities is located in the lagoon area, close to the road. It's a good fishing, swimming and canoeing spot.
There is a very limited shade and it's suitable for SC vehicles only.

Nice place.
Quiet spot next to river. Sealed road to entry, then good gravel road. Grassy spots. No facilities, but very tidy.
Really enjoyed our stay at Rainbow Reserve on the banks of the Dumaresq River. No facilities no bins but well worth the visit.
Very nice, simple rest area located beside the river, with no facilities. It offers a great fishing spot and plenty of water sports opportunities, however there is almost no shade.
Rainbow Reserve Dumaresq River Camp has been given mixed ratings. The most recent review in June 2023 rated it as "good", describing it as a quiet and bird-filled spot with self-contained campsites and no Wi-Fi. Prior reviews have given mixed ratings, including a "bad" rating in November 2022. Other reviewers have described the location as a "nice place" with a "quiet spot next to a river". The campsites are reportedly tidy and well-maintained, with gravel roads and grassy spots. However, there is no comment on facilities such as bins, with some reviews indicating there are none and others describing the lack of facilities as a drawback. Overall, opinions seem to be divided, but it appears that Rainbow Reserve Dumaresq River Camp can be a serene and peaceful spot for those seeking a nature-based getaway.
If you're considering visiting, you may want to check on the current facilities and services offered, as the lack of comment suggests it is subject to change.
