Stayed the night in the park outside the entry gates. Really good - nothing spectacular - no amenities but safe and flat. The whale watching was amazing. We stayed for a good hour watching numerous cows with calves. Really cool. Great scenery. Highly recommend at the right time of the year.

Be aware that entry is between 8:30am and 3:30pm - you will not be allowed in after 3:30pm. We didn’t know this, arrived at 5pm to locked gates.

Wish we could have seen it, though entry is through the gift shop/cafe and there’s a $10 per adult admission fee. Not worth the drive down and back.

Absolutely stunning views. Very breathtaking views and loved seeing the whales being mum and baby frolicking in the water. Awesome campsite at the beginning then go into the gate to go to the viewing area in the morning. Made many beautiful memories to treasure forever. Will definitely be back again. ❤️
