I travelled wear to East on a clear day years ago. Very good and pleasant trip; different view of the land. It saves a LONG drive! Not sure about windy weather: Port Philip Bay can get quite lumpy! It is used by cyclists for "around the Bay", amongst others.

Travel with this ferry on or before 9.00 am for savings.
