Lots of camping sites up along this way that this app isn't showing. Just need to visit the Parks WA website for details/payment etc We camped at 'The Oven' just near the Steep Point sign and it was just spectacular. Granted we had very nice weather with little wind, as the 3 camps are highly exposed. 2 clean drop toilets for use. Long drive in, signs say expect 3hrs, took us over 5, we were on the slow side though. Worth the effort though ?
Steep Point is 4WD access only and extremely remote. It is controlled by DPAW so fee payment is necessay. Lower your tyre pressure or you will be fined. Carry all essentials, especially ample water. Take out all rubbish. Avoid glass if you can as track can be badly corrugated.
