Marble Bar Pool is a local tourist attraction 5 km from the Marble Bar township where a jasper deposit (micro-crystalline quartz) was mistakenly identified as marble when the region was originally explored. The jasper displays its colours and structure best when wet and makes for an attractive photo location with the surrounding hills. The pool adjacent to the Jasper is a pleasant spot to visit but other than the parking area there are no other facilities at this location.
I'm sure its amazing after a rain but at least the water wasn't looking very welcoming lol but the jasper... Wow! take some water and see the difference. Loved it!
What a beautiful site this is, stunning views and the water is fresh as a daisy
