This place was so cute. The prices have increased and it was 18/person plus drinks were an extra 5 if you wanted them. The coffee machine was broken when we went so we brought coffee in from elsewhere. Allowed as long as there’s a fitted lid. We went in the morning having seen the other comments. The place was huge. Kids not allowed in the back room, but no one working there was supervising the inside cat area so.. There were cats up for adoption, and lutte books with the cats names and personality traits you could flip through. My favorite cat was the bengal named Dupie haha! Also, google says opens at 10am but they were open at 9.
Tolles detailverliebtes Cafe. Fast alle Katzen waren gegen 2pm aktiv am spielen. Super bei Regenwetter, die Zeit vergeht so schnell. Alle Katzen sahen gepflegt und zufrieden aus. NZD für 50 Minuten ist jedoch sehr teuer.
Very nice place for Kids and adults who love cats. They are very friendly and lovely. There is a Lego wall for kids to play. Coffee and ice cream are available. They change menu, paid for adult and for kid( not inside free drink)
Just a little too the cat cage closes at 4.30 that’s the last entry as it’s an hour experience. Very good customer service, even though we weren’t able to go and see the cats the staff were amazing!
This was so much fun!! The cats act like normal cats, playful then tired! ? Got to feed them treats which woke them all up!! Absolutely loved it here! you get a free coffee and WiFi! This was amazing made me so happy! Loved it ???

We loved our time here! The cats are beautiful and in such lovely condition. They have so much to play with, as well as their own area without humans if they want to chill which we thought was great. For all the comments about the cats not being active- they are CATS not performing monkeys. They seemed so content to us, and were happy for strokes etc when THEY were ready, which if you’re an animal lover you’ll understand. Great cats, great place and great conditions- definitely recommend!

I could never imagine working for a company that tranquilised their animals and forced them to interact with people. Our cats have so much room to run around and play - and they do! And sometimes they all sleep, that is the nature of cats. It is rare that a cat cafe has a separate room where the cats can escape from the humans if they want to. We're always thinking about the well being of our cats - they are our family. We truly appreciate you speaking up and having our back about the bizarre accusations. Our cats are loved and well taken care of and I'm sure they appreciated all the love you gave them. We hope to see you again if you're ever in Rotorua again!”
To all those who criticize the behavior of cats, have you seen a cat in your life? Not in real life? Not videos, at home, for a whole day? They are all normal and healthy, no doubt about it. Thank you for your welcome and service, I loved drinking my coffee in the middle of the cats players, beautiful or even those who sleep (yes a cat that spend his life to sleep, who is the idiot who thinks that it plays all the time, do you play all the time?) the cats are clean, soft, in good shape and they are just used to seeing people (normal in a cafe ...) $ 15 for an hour to pass in, disinfection of hands and shoes removed before entering. It's clean and very nice. The cafe is laid out for both cats and humans and I thought it was great. I like cats, and coffee ^^ it was for me a great first experience in this kind of universe. And the most? Massaging seat free, what's better than getting a massage while enjoying the purring cats? Thank you. Keep doing what you do and think there will always be people criticizing, it will not change your way of being and the love you put into your work. For people who do not need wifi, it's free. And for those who think they use tranquillizers, lord, you are uneducated ? go to the circus, you will see poor animals playing, but they will be treated badly .. I highly recommend. Thank you to the lovely lady for the flyer in French, I loved the personal touch hahaha. Good Trip - The Frenchy ??
“Thank you so much for supporting us! We wish more people would understand the way you understan- cats will be cats. They play when they play and sleep when they sleep. I am an animal activist and I would definitely not be associated with a company if they tranquilised their cats. It's such a bizarre thing to assume. They are very loved and very spoiled. We always listen to criticism but only if it is something that is honest. Hopefully more people like you will speak up! I am the lady who presented the French instructions to you ;) I'm so glad that made your day! Hopefully we will see you again next time you are in Rotorua. Keep fighting the good fight!
Omg I loved it so much!!!! The staff are so lovely and so are the cats! Not a place for young/rowdy kids as it scares the cats away. Great place to relax and have a cuddle!!!

We were there today and actually had the feeling that the cats, have no normal cat behavior. They really do not react to anything, whether they wanted to play with them or just stroked. Many only looked in one direction. Even the little kitties did not want to play at all although we both have cats and know the behavior of cats normally and that was anything but normal. We were both rather sad after our visit, because we did not think the cats were normal but rather stunned.

If you want to play with them, you can come in the morning. They are playful at that time. But I don't guarantee! To be honest, I have no idea how to respond your review. If you worry about our cat's health problem. Firstly, SPCA come to us all the time to see if the cat all right and we do have cooperation with them. Secondly, none of our cats stay in cat cafe all the time. Which means every time you come here, you will see different cats in our place. If you truly have cats!! If you truly love cats!!Please!! I am begging you. Let all the people know none of animal should entertain human all the time!!!! Cats don't react cause they don't want to!!!! And we NEVER EVER do anything to hurt our cats!!!!! Really poor cat cafe! Have been to many around the world and this is one of the worst. VERY small space filled with many cats not enough room for them to be and the drinks are very bad too don’t waste your money

We have three big rooms for our cat. One of the room is only for cat. None of the cat cafe in New Zealand is bigger than us. I'm not sure in the world.
