Cool stop but not worth a detour - The information center is cool too

Cute little town!! Visited while waiting to go on our hobbit tour and had some time to kill, lovely cafe's and shops

Cute wee wizard seat to sit in. Matamata is a lovely place to get lunch or a coffee and only 20 min away from Hobbiton.

A great place to discover the environnement of LOR (SDA) At this moment the colors are beautiful.

Drove past so stopped for a photo of the sign and the isite across the road building looked pretty awesome too. It was too early and wasn't open yet so couldn't go in. But still good to see. :) Please note: this isn't the place to go for the tour! Lol

Nice shop big cup of moka 4.5 it is definitely worth to visit

Definitely worth stopping at the town to have a photo of the sign and pretending to be Gandalf. Pop into the Dew Drop in round the corner for some more dressing up fun.
