Hermoso lugar tranquilo con mucho espacio. Campamento en el lado del lago que ofrece impresionantes vistas al lago. Muchos pájaros. No hay agua corriente en este momento, pero el sitio web de DOC lo hace muy claro al reservar. Los baños eran buenos con 2 nuevas gotas largas junto con las instalaciones existentes más antiguas. Todo estaba limpio y ordenado.

Showed up here around 9pm. Was the only campervan. Didn't check the toilets but looked like 1 long drop set of 2 toilets. Had no cell service so went just a bit down the road to Guy Roe Reserve, where there are showers you can pay for as well. However the long drop toilets here are gross and full of flies, so pick your poison!

El lugar es agradable, hay muchas habitaciones (nosotros fuimos los únicos en realidad). La vista sobre el lago es agradable, y se puede hacer un pequeño paseo alrededor del lago en la mañana. Los baños no son muy limpios y no hay instalaciones. Pero es muy tranquilo.

Lo único que es maravilloso es la vista del lago y la privacidad.Los baños son inutilizables debido a la loca cantidad de moscas muertas y vivas.

The place is extremely quiet, great for some privacy and a nice sleep. There are loads of spots. However, no shower and terrible toilets, they were full with dead flies. I wonder when was the last time that they were cleaned.

Excelente ubicación al lado del lago con gran vista. Muchos espacios con plumas, buen lugar para nadar, tranquilo y bastante por la noche.

Lugar tranquilo, los baños en el lado de la rampla del barco son modernos y el otro se derrumbó.No hay agua corriente en el sitio, la mejor opción es hervir agua del lago o traer suficiente.

Barriers are closed in the evening. You can't get in without a booking. Went there completely for free, unfortunately it wasn't clear from the apps.

Cute little campsite, not too much privacy but nice lake views. Went for a morning swim - stayed on the long weekend and still plenty of space. The ash road site further down the road has more trees surroundings with the lake views. Would have been louder with a lot more people .... But would probably stay there for the trees next time! very friendly camp manager :)

Arrived at 5 p.m. before dark. We realize that to pay you have to go to the DOC office located in Rotorua. The site is nice but the payment method is binding.
