Very unfriendly owners. Not a good spot to stay. Beautiful place ruined.

Lugar barato para quedarse, pero wifi y duchas no están incluidos, por lo que todo lo que está pagando es un lugar para su furgoneta (nos pusieron en una colina para que ni siquiera fuera plana), uso de sus cocinas sucias y baños. Tal vez sea porque fue un fin de semana de vacaciones, pero las instalaciones eran gruesas. Y desactualizados. El lugar estaba lleno de locales y niños. Definitivamente un lugar amigable con la familia pero no relajante para los viajeros y no vale la pena $ 20 pp por noche. Héctico, ruidoso y sucio. También no ofrecen reembolsos lol.

Excelente campamento, cerca del río y algunos paseos cortos en el bosque cercano. Los propietarios son amigables y útiles. Las duchas son calientes y decentes. Escucha a las aves nativas y se maravilla en el cielo nocturno. El tipo de campamento que estás feliz de encontrar, planeado para 1 pero estuvo en 2. Nadar en el río, caminar hasta la cascada (tomar un almuerzo empacado para divertirse), estarás feliz de haber estado en el parque de vacaciones Ashley Gorge.

Un lugar tan hermoso pero arruinado por el propietario a quien hemos visto gritando a los niños pequeños por no hacer nada en absoluto. Waging sus brazos alrededor. No un personaje agradable. Muy asustado para los niños involucrados. Manténgase bien alejado de este lugar como también notamos un gran volumen de cámaras de seguridad alrededor de la zona que se sentía como una invasión de privilegio.

Gran campamento, todas las instalaciones que necesitas! Muy tranquilo y sólo un corto paseo al río, definitivamente un buen lugar para parar en verano! Los propietarios son encantadores, nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos!

One Word: Amazing

We stayed here before our flight home from Christchurch (only 45 min drive) and couldnt have imagined a more peaceful, scenic and friendly place so close to Christchurch. Very friendly camp owners, beautiful kitchen facilities and great wood fired hot showers with token from reception. Loved our short stay and would 100% recommend to anyone!

Yesterday we spent a really nice, quiet and relaxing camp night Michel and Jean Pierre offer an excellent welcome, a little extra for us Jean-Pierre speaks French, thanks to them and good luck

Wonderful camping facility. Lovely location and park layout which was well maintained. Owners are super friendly and helpful. 21$ for solo traveler at a powered spot. Felt very safe here as there was basic area lighting and the camper area was gated off from the public at night. Kitchen was spacious and clean. 2$ washer 3$ dryer (about 20 mins of dryer time). Bathrooms very clean and 1$ for a shower token for 5-6mins of hot water. Came for one night but stayed for 2. Nice mini tramp to a waterfall (1-1.5hr loop) and the river right at the camp behind the tree line.

Awesome campsite. Quiet setting surrounded by trees. Lovely walks which we still did in the rain. Grounds are well maintained and the facilities clean and tidy. Shower token ($1 at shop) lasts just under 5 mins but you can put in more. Warm welcome. Highly recommended.
