A partir del 11 de Febrero de 2026 los baños no están lavando por lo que estaba lleno, sin papel higiénico.El baño para lavarse las manos no funciona tampoco.Otros campamentos en la región son gratuitos y tienen mejores instalaciones.

Lovely spot and great location for the hikes around Mt Thomas. Grassy area is good but toilets still out of order. Dixie loo very full (not nice!). And yes, many sand flies. Still worth staying there, especially if you have a self-contained van.

Peaceful spot but very patchy 4g reception. Mostly grassy and rutted where people have struggled to get out. Ground still soft so need to take care and avoid completely in wet conditions unless you have 4wd, or chains. Will be closed 1st fortnight Oct while the loo gets fixed. Be great if they lay some gravel bays and on the access tracks while they're at it.

Un lugar pintoresco, una hermosa vista sobre las tierras agrícolas rurales. Muchas mariposas en las noches. Situado entre los árboles altos para que algunos sitios de tiendas pueden ser un poco sombreados. Los principales baños están fuera de acción debido a los problemas de los tanques escépticos, se ha proporcionado un baño de caída larga, estaba limpio pero un poco oloroso.

Stayed one night here, the grass in the further back area ( near toilets) was mown and the ground was flat. Flushing toilets were out of order, one alternate toilet was available but not very clean. Bugs were an issue, bring repellant. DOC rangers were onsite in the morning checking in on things. Note, the drive up to this is a long gravel road; it feels like you are driving the wrong way entirely. A quiet site with minimal facilities but pleasant for a night if self-contained

Recientemente tuvimos tres maravillosas noches aquí! Muy tranquilo y pacífico y buenas vistas. Hay una sección más baja y más alta para acampar! Puede ser un poco incómodo después de mucha lluvia. Algunos caminos realmente buenos desde aquí! No estoy seguro de la situación del baño, pero los bloques todavía están allí. Buena señal en el teléfono y la televisión. Buen lugar!! Pasó dos noches hermosas aquí. sin agua y sin lavado de baño debido al problema continuo con el tanque escéptico, pero la gota larga y los baños químicos allí.

El spot está bien.Muchos bugs tho.

Gran lugar muchos campings diferentes recuerdan el spray de insectos y muchos de ellos definitivamente volverán
