It just kept getting better. I was looking at where to stay in the area, and wanting to see mount cook, and noticed there was a campsite with a view and opposite the mountain range. Then...it only had 4 spots so it was more likely to be quiet and encourage people who really want to experience the piece of the mountains. Then...an adventure along a gravel track along a beautiful turquoise lake, no one else on the road. Then...a beautiful camping spot with a perfect view of snow capped mountains.

Only come here if you have a guarantee of good weather. You're isolated, with 30 km of gravel road to contend with. Apparently, the view is superb. But with three days of rain and clouds, we couldn't verify that :( The Wi-Fi is good when it works; a power outage left us without a connection for 24 hours. The hosts are very friendly and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. The cost is expensive at $120.

10/10 would recommend! Beautiful view, lovely cabin, very nice owners. Perfect for anyone who wants a secluded nature experience but still want to be comfortable.

Este lugar es absolutamente increíble. Un must para todos. Hemos estado viajando durante varias semanas y este es el mejor campamento que hemos visitado.

Qué lugar increíble. Las vistas son inmejorables y las instalaciones son excelentes. me gustaría que hubiéramos podido estar más tiempo.

Nos alojamos en una casa de automóvil contenida por una noche a finales de marzo. En comparación con las carreteras de ladrillo en Australia, la carretera de ladrillo dentro y fuera fue un sueño! Conducir un poco más rápido y no sentirás la clasificación tanto. Vale la pena conducir porque las vistas son fab. Increíble pequeña casa con baño y cocina, chimenea, gran wifi. Las estrellas son increíbles también. Me encantó escuchar a las vacas por la noche. La única cosa que me detuvo fue el hecho de que podía pagar para cazar el cerdo en la propiedad.

Un lugar fantástico con todo lo que puedes encontrar en la pequeña casa.

Hermoso lugar aislado, definitivamente único y uno de nuestros lugares favoritos. La pista de barro es navegable si se rompe en una gran furgoneta, pero vale la pena. La cabaña tiene todo lo que necesita con la cocina, etc., 2 duchas calientes. Limitado a 4 terrenos por lo que se sintió muy íntimo y acogedor. Propietarios muy receptivos y aparecieron para comprobarnos. absolutamente impresionantes vistas del lago Pukaki, el monte Cook y cerca de ninguna contaminación lumínica para hermosas vistas de la Vía Láctea. Recomendamos!

Stunning spot, well worth the money. Unique location and the best site we stayed on in NZ by far. We were lucky and the weather was beautiful so we had the most amazing view of the stars and the milky way. Owners are lovely and very responsive. Would definitely stay again. Word of warning though - you need to travel 33km up a gravel road which is a little bumpy and dusty but this place is absolutely worth it 10/10
