We came in a rainy day. There are toilets and you are allowed to stay 2 nights per month. No windy at all! Nice view of the river. Quite and chill.

Uno de los mejores campamentos gratuitos alrededor de Napier (junto con la Reserva de Springfield). Estoy trabajando en Hastings durante un mes y medio y viajo de vuelta y adelante entre los dos campamentos gratuitos para reiniciar las dos noches consecutivas, y nunca tuve ningún problema.Los campistas son amables, especialmente los locales que viven allí permanentemente.

What a great spot on the water especially on a very hot NZ day...31 degrees and the town just a 5 minute walk with a lovely pub the closest for a nice cold pint.

Beautiful riverside spot, easy parking, potable water drinking fountain for humans and dogs, clean regularly maintained public toilets and rubbish bins. No shore power available. Quiet spot despite about ten motorhomes on the night. Lots of passing walkers and cyclists on the riverside track.
