This town is weird. Really dodgy. Just bad vibes as soon as I arrived and then turned around straight after arriving at this camp site. I’m a female solo traveler so gotta be more safe and no one else was there just one random normal car that didn’t look like someone camping in it.

Woken up at 2 AM by a car with its music blasting; the guy was drunk. Lots of noise because of the deer nearby. However, it's a very pretty spot, though the toilets smell really bad.

Very nice place, next to the river, clean long drop toilets. Everything seems nice and pretty, and we didnt want follow other commens opinions but. People are actually strange here. Cars driven by quite questionable individuals pass by, they slow down to check you out (like they are looking for something) and then drive away again and this happens very, very often, like every 15-30 minutes.

El lugar es fantástico, hay baños, red y usted está junto al río. Sólo conocimos a unas pocas familias y personas que vinieron a pasear con sus perros. No nos molestaron en absoluto por la noche, excepto el cerdo del otro lado de la carretera pero se acostumbra a ello. 😊

En sí misma una buena opción, libre y ubicada en el centro. Sin embargo, volvimos antes de la oscuridad porque había muchos personajes extraños escondidos alrededor del aparcamiento. El lugar debe ser muy seguro, pero nos sentimos muy inseguros y volvimos a conducir.

Buena vista sobre la playa, pero el lugar es más parque de perros para los locales. Ten cuidado en la zona herbácea para perros sh**.

Un lugar hermoso con un fantástico atardecer. Hay un baño, pero el papel higiénico estaba vacío. Desafortunadamente, los jóvenes se movieron por allí en coches, escucharon música en altofalantes y bebieron alcohol. Ya que no parecía que estuvieran saliendo pronto y no queríamos ningún problema, nos mudamos al sitio en el Memorial de la Guerra, una verdadera vergüenza!

Pretty spot, One limpio no olor largo caer! aparcamiento en la hierba por lo que actualmente una piscina pero logró encontrar 1 lugar en un granito un poco fuera de la carretera. También definitivamente un corredor de niños gira alrededor de círculo pero desaparecieron por 10pm así que estaba bien.

Pretty decent spot right on the beach. We arrived late on a Tuesday after all of the other sites were closed/empty on the way up from Napier. There were 2 other campers, and a few people stopped in the evening to use the toilets but didn’t bother us, even turned off highbeams! Long drop toilets are fairly clean, although bring toilet paper as I didn’t see any. Only problem was nearby cows moo-ing ALL NIGHT LONG. It must be mating season!
