Friendly staff and nice campsite with clean facilities near the beach; do recommend!

Very nice campsite with old but clean toilets/showers ($2 shower). Friendly welcome despite the late hour (7pm), few people, very quiet. Sound of the waves and a small view of Taranaki. Kitchen available (fridge, hotplates, microwave, kettle) but no table. Wifi not very functional today

Hidden little gem located next to the river & not far to visit Mount Taranyaki Hosts are beautiful people & very welcoming. Facilities are clean, $2 for a hot shower & campers only use. We paid $45 with a powered site per night. Spent 2 nights & sad we are leaving as we live in Australia 🇦🇺 Thanks so much 🙏🏽

Los terrenos son grandes, los terrenos están bien mantenidos, las instalaciones sanitarias son limpias pero desactualizadas, las duchas cuestan 2§ por 6 minutos, el precio para 2 personas 50§. El terreno más caro para las ofertas que hemos visto en comparación en las últimas 5 semanas.

Todo está bien. Instalaciones limpias, cuidadores agradables. Gran ubicación junto al río. Estuvimos allí sólo una noche. Precio excelente. NZ$48 sitio alimentado.

Maravilloso campamento. Realmente hostes útiles y amigables. Muchos de los locales parecen quedarse aquí, que también eran muy amigables. En la noche que estuvimos tenían un chico local que proporcionaba entretenimiento gratuito tocando cubiertas en la guitarra de 5pm a 9pm sin parar. La playa en sí no es tan grande para nadar. Todo el mundo parece nadar en el río. Buenas instalaciones, incluyendo duchas.

Absolutamente recomiendo!. hermoso sitio y ubicación. Excelente para niños, familias, etc. Limpio, bien equipado y muy bien gestionado. Espero volver de nuevo en el futuro y permanecer unos días más. Gracias!.

Beautiful campsite. Great location on the river, a small bridge takes you to black sand dunes and a lovely beach. The complex itself is very well maintained, kitchen equipped with everything you need. Nice playground, toilets and warm showers available. We (family with children) can highly recommend it!

Perfect site. Large spot for the van, very quiet and close to the beach.. Beautiful black sand. Can recommend it!

Had a fabulous 3 days. Awesome river and weather was lovely. Taranaki Maunga amazing! Very reasonably priced and helpful manager. Definitely will come back.
