Un lugar realmente cool para quedarse!! Nos aparcamos por 2 noches justo en el acantilado y lo tuvimos todo para nosotros mismos. Puedes caminar hasta la playa y comprobar las cuevas que son el siguiente nivel! Locales muy amables y bastante la comunidad de pescadores, montando en sus bicicletas cuadradas y tirando en sus redes. Es viento pero no importa como la ubicación supera el viento. Puedes tener perros aquí también. Nos gustó mucho nuestra estancia y definitivamente volvería 😊

Cave beach is destroyed by cyclone gabrielle. But beautiful little caves are accessable via long beach during low tide.

Cave Beach was absolutely unreal. Have lived in NZ 28 years and this is up there with a favorite for me, especially at sunset.

Wonderful place ! Surely one of our favorites on the North Island. Black sand beach with lots of cellars in the cliffs. Do not hesitate to walk along the beach to the east, it's the most beautiful! As a previous comment, another version of Cathedral Cove in much wilder and much less tourists. It's definitely worth it!

Very nice place to go for a walk on the beach. Black sand and cave dug by the sea !! nice and very few people. Possibility to sleep on the spot!
