Llegamos en una tarde de miércoles y éramos los únicos allí. Muy tranquilo, una barra de recepción con Spark, solo usable para las cosas esenciales desnudas. Los baños funcionales pero sucios. Sin embargo, había una ducha limpia y gratuita (!) caliente con un cubicle privado. Fantástico y mil puntos más. Cajas de basura estaban disponibles. Sin extraños o crackheads.

Came here on a Friday afternoon. The toilets were alright and it was quiet but looked a bit rough. As soon as we opened the door it absolutely stunk! Not sure if it was the toilets or what? But really bad smell. Wouldn’t want any windows or doors open. Then saw the review about noise across the river and always worry about weekends. Ended up leaving and going to Little Waipa which was huge clean and beautiful.

I came on a Thursday night and it was fine. A ute came.around midnight and parked next to me with the engine on. When i looked throught the window, they moved a bit further and switched off the engine and the lights. With all the comments on other freecamps, I didn't feel so safe but the spot is great with hot shower ! So I would still recommend it. Just lock your van while you sleep.

A stunning spot, with hot shower and a clean toilet. Quite a bit of space, only 3 other campers when we were there. Unfortunately there were some hoons at Bulmers Landing on the other side of the lake playing loud music and doing burn outs to 4.30am. It could easily have been our campground they chose though. I dont think this is a high priority for the police, however it might help if the council put in some speed bumps? We stayed on a Friday night. Might be worse Friday and Saturday?

Beautiful location. A few other campers. We sent a very peaceful and enjoyable night here.

Un lugar hermoso, pero popular para los jóvenes. Me quedé en una noche de viernes. Música fuerte hasta tarde, discutiendo, y un 2am golpeó en mi puerta, que no abrí. Un coche salió de combustible. Luego, por separado, un tipo con cortadores de tornillos llegó a las 5.30am para intentar robar la batería de la ducha. Mi peor experiencia de camper jamás. La vista es pintoresca. Fue feliz, hasta que cayó la oscuridad.

Hermoso lugar junto al río. Un par de furgonetas allí y perros y niños alegres jugando en el lago. Pero la gente era respetuosa y sin música ni ruido. Luches básicos decentes y buenos cubicles de ducha. Gran lugar. Sin energía.

¡Amo este lugar! ocupado y claramente un lugar que los locales aman en el fin de semana pero nos gustó la energía que esto trajo. duchas calientes y baños. No gran servicio de datos.

Estuvimos aquí hace un par de semanas y disfrutamos de nuestra estancia. baños limpios e incluso una ducha solar caliente gratuita.Había un par de familias que podrían haber sido residentes permanentes pero eran tranquilos y respetuosos.No hay recepción telefónica aquí y un poco de la carretera principal por lo que no estoy seguro de que hubiera estado cómodo aquí si mi pareja no estuviera conmigo.
