Best campsite so far. Hot showers with very strong water pressure. Everything is very clean. Large, well-equipped kitchen area with refrigerator, freezer, and oven.

Honestly, as a woman traveling alone, go for it without hesitation. Everything is clean, the people are friendly, and the view is incredible. If you ask, the owner will tell you exactly what time to go to the hot water beach and will even provide you with a shovel. It's a peaceful and amazing place!

This campsite is by far the best we've stayed at during our six-week New Zealand vacation. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. At $40 including electricity for a two-person campervan, the price is absolutely fair. There are free kayaks available for exploring the inlet. On our first evening, we were even treated to fresh smoked fish he had caught that day. The site is quiet and just a five-minute drive from Hot Water Beach, where free shovels are also provided. Highly recommended!

The owner was at a birthday party and the place was actually fully booked, but after a quick phone call, I was able to stay. The kitchen was superbly equipped, there was a lounge, and a toilet.

$20 per person, facing the sea. Toilets, hot showers, Wi-Fi and even a jacuzzi!! Kitchen with toaster, oven, microwave, kettle... The best paid campsite we've been to.

Nos encantó absolutamente este lugar. El anfitrión y su compañero eran tan amigables y hospitalarios. Atraparon un montón de snapper y lo compartieron con todo el mundo. Fresco y fumado 😋 El campamento era espacioso, plano y ordenadamente tallado con vistas al mar. Kawhia es una hermosa pequeña ciudad llena de historia con un pequeño museo y puerto al mar. Waitangi Day en el parque fue realmente dulce con todos los locales que salían para unos maravillosos kai. 👌 Kawhia fue nuestro primer campamento en nuestro viaje, y definitivamente el mejor.

Comprar mercancías antes de llegar allí. Todo cerrado el lunes. El propietario camina alrededor ofreciendo pescado ppl que ha capturado que es maravilloso y gratis kayaks. La vista es grande
