Nuestra experiencia aquí ha sido agradable! Es lo suficientemente limpio y los espacios de aparcamiento dan mucho espacio, lo único negativo que tengo es que solo hay 1 ducha en cada baño (1 en los hombres y 1 en las mujeres) esto hace que sea extremadamente difícil levantarse y estar listo para dejar por el cheque nuestro tiempo como todo el mundo está de pie al mismo tiempo por querer usarlo.

Ubicación increíble justo al lado de la playa. Tal experiencia maravillosa! Todo el personal es encantador y nos encontramos con un trabajador realmente encantador que había estado allí 25 años! Gran chat! Sitios alimentados y encantadores y instalaciones son limpias con gran agua caliente y presión de ducha! También tienen un alpaca realmente dulce ! Hemos sacado al perro y fue una experiencia perfecta! Un tui incluso aterrizó junto a nuestro lugar de desayuno! Volvería a ir.

Llegamos espontáneamente y fuimos recibidos con los brazos abiertos, lo que fue maravilloso. La ubicación también es fantástica, ya que se puede oír el mar inmediatamente y ver mosquitos a través de la calle. Desafortunadamente, tuvimos mala suerte, ya que sólo hubo tormentas durante nuestra estancia. Lo que fue decepcionante: uno de los dos secadores se rompió (pero la dama en la recepción nos dio dinero para el otro), la cocina estaba muy mal equipada, y el pequeño calentador apenas funcionó.

Basic site, 1x shower per gender which made for queues, kitchen area well stocked with utensils. Glow worm dell across the road.

Excellent location. Close to the ocean. Convenient kitchen, showers and toilets. We liked it a lot!

Nice stay, close to town, can walk to the beach and the glow worms.

Overall a really nice stay! Non-powered spots were pretty small and you’re staying close to your neighbors. We were given the spot by reception. Only one shower for the whole place (which is not very big, but in high season must be a bit tough). Had nice hot water around 7pm. Nice kitchen with couches as well.

Character small camping ground. We had dinner on the beach next door watching the sunset and toddled across to the Glow Worm Dell across the way. If you like character, wekas running around and west coast beaches, this is a great place to stay.

Small compact site adjacent to beach. Couple of toilets and 2 showers (free). Generous camp kitchen. Wifi slow. Very small washing line and bring your own pegs!

They either gave us the wrong pitch or double booked it as someone was in it when we arrived. I emailed them as I couldn't call. Never got a response. I parked in an alternative space in the hope it wasn't also someone else's. The showers are good and hot and they have kitchen facilities. But the place is very tired and Hokitika town didn't have a lot to offer in my opinion. Fine for one night, if you arrive before reception closes.
