Such an awesome space. We payed 20$ for two people on an unpowered site. The women who owns the place was super friendly and welcomed us. Laundry was 2$ and dryer 4$. Bathrooms were big and spacious. A kitchen is available. Just two cooking places to cook, so a bit small. But nobody else was using the kitchen beside us. 20 min walk to the beach. Top location and very friendly neighbors.

Good spot for a night but move after 09 to normal parking or they will tell you!

We had an amazing time, we can only recommend this lovely place. Really nice people and the showers and kitchen was clean.☺️

Wonderful campsite near Hobbiton. Beautiful views, clean bathhouse. We emailed for availability/arrival hours and had a very prompt response. Bring cash, and $2 coins for a hot shower.

Super free camp au bord du lac Poaka. Énormément d’emplacements sur terrain plat. Tous types de camping autorisés. Très calme avec vue sur les montagnes dont le Mont Cook par temps dégagé. Il y a également 2 toilettes sèches sur le camping.

Really good spot to spend max 2 nights, 2 clean bathrooms open all night (it seems that they clean every day in the morning). Stunning beach close to the parking area (we saw a sleeping seal, try to not disturb them :) ) There is drinkable water, sink and cold shower. Best option close to Dunedin (15 min away). It was full around 9 pm but it was a rainy day, so I recommend coming in the afternoon to enjoy walking on the beach. Love NZ ❤️

The most frustrating thing was the Wi-Fi; the connection kept dropping after a few tries, making it almost unusable. Campsites without private bathrooms cost $78 to check in on Tuesdays, and there was a charge for using the washing machine. The kitchen facilities were also very basic. It was the worst campsite I encountered during my RV trip in Australia.

This place saved us we were on a spot on the beach with large raffles... we searched until 22:00 and we found this spot thanks!!

It wasn’t too busy when we were visiting. Great spot with toilets. The sunset on the beach was absolutely stunning!

Quiet off the hwy, long drop, parked up on designated bitumen parking bays, feels safe.

A huge shout out to Frank the care taker Bruce and he's wife. They helped me out alot nice peaceful camp grounds and accommodate people would recommend to any one will be back. I couldn't ask for more from the grounds and the people who run it 10 out of 10

Sandra is a very friendly and welcoming host, she went over and beyond to show us around. Beautiful piece of land, our stay was incredibly peaceful. The showers have awesome water pressure, we highly recommend.

An amazing stay!!! Hot showers, clean toilets, all round great campsite. Laundry room, 2 pools, water park and bouncing pillow! On the last night they upgraded us from non-powered to a powered aight for no extra cost! $60 per night but it was well worth the money. Would definitely stay again

Closest public bathroom is about 13 minutes walk. Perfect phone reception. Just these three spaces. I was here in October quater past 6pm and got the last spot. So you have to be lucky. Street is close by so if you have troubles with noise I would probably not recommend.

My favourite free camp so far. Clean toilets with toilet paper, quiet, safe town. Highly recommend spending half a day in the hot pools for ultra decompression.
