It just kept getting better. I was looking at where to stay in the area, and wanting to see mount cook, and noticed there was a campsite with a view and opposite the mountain range. Then...it only had 4 spots so it was more likely to be quiet and encourage people who really want to experience the piece of the mountains. Then...an adventure along a gravel track along a beautiful turquoise lake, no one else on the road. Then...a beautiful camping spot with a perfect view of snow capped mountains.

Only come here if you have a guarantee of good weather. You're isolated, with 30 km of gravel road to contend with. Apparently, the view is superb. But with three days of rain and clouds, we couldn't verify that :( The Wi-Fi is good when it works; a power outage left us without a connection for 24 hours. The hosts are very friendly and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. The cost is expensive at $120.

10/10 would recommend! Beautiful view, lovely cabin, very nice owners. Perfect for anyone who wants a secluded nature experience but still want to be comfortable.

Tämä paikka on ehdottomasti hämmästyttävä. Pakko kaikille. Olemme matkustaneet useita viikkoja nyt ja tämä on paras leirintäalue olemme käyneet. Uskomattomat näkymät ja todella mukavat tilat.

Mikä uskomaton paikka. Näkymät ovat voittamattomia ja mukavuudet ovat suuria. Toivon, että olisimme voineet viipyä pidempään.

Olemme viipyneet itse sisältyvässä autotallissa yhden yön maaliskuun lopulla. Verrattuna australialaisiin kaivoihin, kaivo tie sisään ja ulos oli unelma! Ajaa hieman nopeammin ja et tunne luokitusta niin paljon. Kannattaa ajaa, koska näkymät ovat fab. hämmästyttävä pieni mökki, jossa on kylpyhuone ja keittiö, takka, loistava wifi. Tähdet ovat myös hämmästyttäviä. Rakastin kuulla lehmät yöllä. Ainoa asia, joka jätti minut pois, oli se, että voit maksaa metsästää hirviöitä kiinteistössä.

Loistava paikka, jossa on kaikki, mitä teet pienessä mökissä.

Kaunis eristäytynyt paikka, ehdottomasti ainutlaatuinen ja yksi suosikkipaikoistamme. Rautatietä on navigoitavissa, jos törmätä iso kuorma-auto, mutta kannattaa. Hytti on kaikki mitä tarvitset ruoanlaitto jne, 2 kuumaa suihkua. Rajoitettu 4 kenttää niin tuntui hyvin intiimi ja viihtyisä. Omistajat hyvin reagoiva ja popped yli tarkistaa meille. ehdottomasti upea näkymät järvelle Pukaki, Mount Cook ja vieressä ei valon saastuminen kaunis näkymä Linnunradan. Suosittelen!

Stunning spot, well worth the money. Unique location and the best site we stayed on in NZ by far. We were lucky and the weather was beautiful so we had the most amazing view of the stars and the milky way. Owners are lovely and very responsive. Would definitely stay again. Word of warning though - you need to travel 33km up a gravel road which is a little bumpy and dusty but this place is absolutely worth it 10/10
