Parfait pour les ferries entre îles ou l'accès à la Queen Charlotte Track. Les installations sont propres et fonctionnelles mais obsolètes. Faites attention aux chèvres sur la falaise au-dessus de la ligne de chemin de fer.

Surprised by the negative comments. The welcome was friendly and the sites are a good size. Amenities are really good: nice hot showers, a large kitchen, and everything is clean. Very quiet at night. Honestly, a perfect place to stay in Picton.

The owner was very rude. When we wanted to check in, he told me that we still had to pay. As we already put our payment details in while booking I was skeptical and said that I wanted to check my banking app first if nothing had been charged (because all the other times I had booked a campsite it was that way). He then responded that we could drive to the next campsite if I didn’t trust him and just walked out of the room. Even though there was nothing charged I found his behavior very rude.

Excellent service. I made a last-minute booking because I was crossing by ferry at the last minute, and they reserved a very comfortable and warm cabin for me. When I called to explain that we would be arriving on the last-minute ferry, they said it was very understandable and not to worry, that they would leave the keys next to the main office. It's also worth mentioning that the showers had wonderfully hot water, the laundry service was spectacular with a washer and dryer, and the kitchen was fully equipped.

Infrastructure is bit old otherwise it was nice place to stay. Wifi was not free. Bathrooms, kitchen, fresh water to refill, waste dump, power site all facilities were good. Beautiful morning view, we enjoyed when train was crossing over.

As already mentioned, the infrastructure is a bit outdated, but everything was very clean. Showers were freshly painted and hot. The kitchen and appliances were clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We stayed here for two nights for hiking. At €20 per night, it was perfectly fine. Many campsites in Germany cost more.

Ma réservation a été confirmée, une cabine avec douche / toilette / télévision / serviettes / sèche-cheveux. À l'arrivée, ils ont dit qu'il y avait une erreur de logiciel, seules les cabines de base étaient disponibles, et les problèmes de logiciel ne pouvaient pas être corrigés. Cela semble être un modèle d'affaires: une offre bon marché, et à l'arrivée, vous êtes offert une cabine avec rien. La cabine sent terriblement la fumée de cigarette stable, et la salle de bains commune aussi une odeur de cigarettes. Mieux vaut ne pas! Pas bon séjour!!! Jeep loin!!!!!!

Bon endroit pour passer une nuit mais pas plus, infrastructure légèrement obsolète et pas de wifi gratuit!

notre ferry de l'île du nord est arrivé à 11h45 et nous avons appelé dans l'après-midi si nous pouvions check-in que tard, ils ont dit juste de rouler et de prendre un endroit & payer le lendemain matin - ce qui s'est parfaitement bien passé pour nous et nous avons été reconnaissants pour une conduite facile 5 minutes du ferry. vous pouvez entendre le train tôt le matin et les douches / cuisine / salle de bains sont assez couru, mais bon pour une solution de nuit / ferry:)
