HUGE camping area with smooth level grass. Can get boggy after heavy rain, but there is firm ground before the grassy area. We spent 2 lots of 3 nights here, and at the most there were 10 others staying. Don't forget to book online before you arrive, there is no phone signal.

Great field with sinks and toilets in the middle of nowhere.

Fermé pour l'hiver! Retiré hier, réservé, rien sur le site, après avoir traversé ce minuscule pont et les portes enfoncées verrouillées! Appelé DOC, après avoir connecté Starlink comme aucun signal téléphonique ici, ils avaient fait une erreur permettant les réservations, il est officiellement fermé pour l'hiver, (conseillé NZMCA). Le pont! Oy vey! Nous sommes 14 mètres au total, accroché et cela m'a pris trois tentatives haha! Possible cependant, quand il est ouvert!! Très petite zone à tourner bien que si les portes sont verrouillées, alors vérifiez d'abord! TASMANTRAVELS

C'est très agréable. Mais un peu confus. Sur le site doc tout est bien. En face du camping il y a un signe qui dit qu'il est fermé en raison de vol. Mais autrement que cela, tout semble être bien. Il n'y a absolument aucun signal. Nous avons réservé avant d'y arriver. C'est tout de l'herbe, donc avec une course lourde les pneus ne vont pas avoir une bonne tenue.

One of the best camping places, I have had so far because it was so quiet and in the middle of nature. But there is no Internet or signal.

Freshly mown grass and overall the site is very well presented. Despite the size it’s a quiet spot with only a few campers on a Friday night. Not sure why as it’s a beautiful spot. Bit of a hidden gem.

Got there pretty late due to delayed ferry but managed to pull up to a massive site and pitch up our rooftop tent and had a very quiet sleep. Flush toilets and water you can boil. $20 for 2 cash only.

Really beautiful large site. Only 2 other campers there. Flush toilets and running water. Secluded and peaceful. Bird song by day, silent starry skies by night. Soft grass, no mud when we were there mid January.

What a great spot! As described by others… too big an area to get busy, sunny and shady options, nice amenities, beauty river, no prob with bugs. Most birdsong I’ve heard in upper SI.
