Great place, definitely recommended - not only for birders!

C'était l'un des points forts de notre voyage! Nous avons appris tellement sur les oiseaux de NZ et les efforts de conservation qui sont faits dans le monde entier.

Excellent endroit. Très éducatif et agréable promenade aux cachettes d'oiseaux

Vraiment génial! Nous sommes allés faire une belle promenade aux cygnes d'oiseaux et avons regardé les wrybills voler et d'autres oiseaux de mer errant autour. Le personnel était super gentil et informatif et ils nous ont laissé prendre des douches ici en échange d'une donation.

A bummer at the edge of the road with the noise of cars. 3 seagulls ,ducks and swallows with cows ........

Beware of the tides. When we were there it was low tide and we couldn't see any birds...

Nicely set up walk and bird hides - just ensure you go at high tide! The Centre further up the road has plenty of information and binoculars for hire.
