Loved this place. We had a very friendly welcome, the site is VERY well maintained and carter's beach is exceptional. I'd be back in a heartbeat.

Grand camping. Le personnel de la réception est gentil et accueillant. Il y a une variété de jeux amusants à jouer: ping pong, football de table. Très amical pour les enfants. Les toilettes et les douches sont propres et bons. La cuisine est plus que suffisante, beaucoup de tables à asseoir et une belle salle de lavage. Je recommande vivement de venir ici.

A lovely campground right by a beautiful beach, very quiet and peaceful. We had a powered grass site and were very satisfied. The sanitary facilities are excellent: each person has a private room with shower, toilet, and sink, all spotlessly clean. At just $70 per night for four people, it’s great value and highly recommended.

This is our second trip through New Zealand, and we're very happy with the country and its people. We usually stay at top 10 holiday parks. But this particular place? No thanks. According to the internet, a night costs €47, but we wanted to stay one night, and at reception they wanted double that price. A rip-off, no thanks.

Don't just turn up at reception, you will get ripped off. Book online so you can see the cost of pitches. Powered sites are cheaper than unpowered and are much larger and both are cheaper than the prices from reception.

Nice showers, clean. Nice location to visit the seal colony, lot of pups right now. Sweet kitten was wondering around, who jumped into our van to dry off (was a very rainy day). Short walk to the beach. Nice little market on sunday close by with regional products and art.

Quite a nice campsite! Decent prices for unpowered sites. Free and good wifi. Nice clean showers and bathrooms. Big kitchen with ovens and stovetops. Areas to charge phones. Across the street from the beach

Pissing with rain, but enjoyed staying here. Very quiet, a bit dated but comfortable. Wifi good, showers nice, staff friendly - all in all a good stay

Stayed two nights on a powered site. Very near the beach and a 10 min drive from Westport. Very clean facilities and hot showers. Sky TV and great WiFi. Great cafe / bar Donaldos a 10 min walk away. Only has cold washing machines.
