אזור קמפינג ענק עם דשא ברמה חלקה. ניתן לקבל בולג'י לאחר גשם חזק, אבל יש קרקע מוצקה לפני אזור הדשא. בילינו כאן 2 לילות של 3 לילות, ובמקסימום היו 10 אחרים להישאר. אל תשכח להזמין באינטרנט לפני ההגעה, אין סימן טלפון.

Great field with sinks and toilets in the middle of nowhere.

סגור לחורף! נלקח אתמול, הוזמן, שום דבר באתר, לאחר שהגיע על הגשר הקטן הזה ושערים פונים נעול! קרא DOC, לאחר חיבור Starlink כמו שום אות טלפון כאן, הם עשו טעות המאפשרת הזמנות, זה סגור באופן רשמי לחורף, (מליץ NZMCA). הגשר! Oy vey! אנחנו 14 מטרים בסך הכל, הגענו למעלה וזה לקח לי שלושה ניסיונות haha! ניתן לעשות, אם כי, כאשר הוא פתוח!! אזור קטן מאוד להסתובב אם השערים נעולים, אז בדוק ראשון! TASMANTRAVELS

זה מאוד נחמד. אבל קצת מבולבל. באתר doc הכל בסדר. בחזית קמפינג יש סימן אומר שזה סגור בגלל גניבה. אבל חוץ מזה כל דבר אחר נראה בסדר. אין שום סימן לחלוטין. אנחנו הזמנו לפני שהגענו לשם. זה כל דשא אז עם ריצה כבדה הצמיגים לא הולכים לקבל תופעה טובה.

One of the best camping places, I have had so far because it was so quiet and in the middle of nature. But there is no Internet or signal.

Freshly mown grass and overall the site is very well presented. Despite the size it’s a quiet spot with only a few campers on a Friday night. Not sure why as it’s a beautiful spot. Bit of a hidden gem.

Got there pretty late due to delayed ferry but managed to pull up to a massive site and pitch up our rooftop tent and had a very quiet sleep. Flush toilets and water you can boil. $20 for 2 cash only.

Really beautiful large site. Only 2 other campers there. Flush toilets and running water. Secluded and peaceful. Bird song by day, silent starry skies by night. Soft grass, no mud when we were there mid January.

What a great spot! As described by others… too big an area to get busy, sunny and shady options, nice amenities, beauty river, no prob with bugs. Most birdsong I’ve heard in upper SI.
