Or search “Kaituna valley packhorse hut track car park” in google maps. Otherwise, I conveniently visited this track for the first time on the opening day of the Tūpari reserve track. Stellar track!! I hiked the new Tūpari reserve track up to the hut (5km) and then hiked the original doc Kaituna Valley track down (3km). 2hr 20mins return.
