पर्वत के पैरों पर बिल्कुल अद्भुत जगह. हम स्पष्ट धूप के दिनों के लिए भाग्यशाली थे. आप पहुंचने से पहले अपने वाहन को पानी से भरने के लिए सुनिश्चित करें क्योंकि जगह पर भरने के लिए कोई जगह नहीं है या यहां तक कि आसपास के मिट्टी रसोई शहर में भी। एक बूंद बाथरूम पर्याप्त था. शिविर शांत और शांत था।

Wow, what a beautiful campground. You don’t get much amenity-wise but the view and choice of hikes/tracks is just amazing and well worth the money. At least four tracks with ranging difficulties and even a track to the village which was fun. However don’t get caught out in the village with no car after dark - it’s a bit scary using the track to get back! Clean toilets. - Nishy and Nicky

We paid the $40 for the one night for 2 people. We did the mueller hut hike in just under 5h return, it was breathtaking. Definitely recommend it, if had planned better would have gone to spend the night in the red hut (mueller hut).

Great timing with us we had clear days and made the most of this incredible site thanks NZ .your tourism set up is number one.

Great starting location for various Hooker valley routes. Hooker valley walk is partially closed currently fyi. Toilets, recycling and even a communal space for washing available.

My favorite DOC campsite in NZ. Perfect location for hiking as it’s the starting point for all the best walks in mount cook. Clean toilets and washing up facilities. Busy but room for lots of campers. Book in advance. Be aware the closest supermarket is over an hour away so come prepared, although there are restaurants nearby.

Surprisingly there is internet 👍🏻 not the fastest, but good enough. Did not use any facility. View is 💯💯

Great spot if you're looking to tackle the hikes. Smaller bathroom area wasn't fantastic, but the larger area with the communal kitchen is great. DOC will make sure you're supposed to be there, so don't forget to register your vehicle. One of the best sunrises of the trip, I've never seen as many stars as I did that night.

Which a unique site, once in a lifetime! Basic utilities including paying for a hot shower but you would know this before you book. We booked our spot a couple of months in advance and there were heaps left. Saw a DOC ranger checking number plates on our last morning contrary to what others have said! Come prepared and plan your route around the campsite if you need

Very busy when I arrived at 9:30am, but campground was pretty empty. Rangers were around. Everyone cleared out at around 3pm. There are flushing toilets & drinking water. You do get some service as well. Amazing place to camp for a night or two!!
