Absolutely stunning on December 28th. A little closer to Lake Tekapo than GPS shows.

Epic. We arrived December 18th and it was in full bloom. It was the most impressive field of Lupins we saw the whole trip.

Nothing to see here any more, this plant is not native and seen as invasive, they have been eradicated in this area I guess, just drove by today and couldn't see a single one, although the bloom November
