Could not ask for more from a paid campsite. Full use of clean kitchen and bathroom facilities for $15pp. I’ve been to numerous camps in New Zealand and most showers are time limited or cost additional tokens to use, not here. Showers are not limited, very warm and good pressure. Owners are very accommodating and also run a lovely little cafe alongside the campsite. Would recommend.

Has all the basics at a good price !

Abbiamo pagato 30$ per due persone. Il posto sembra buono, hai un sacco di spazio per parcheggiare. Le comodità sono povere tho - hai la cucina e un bagno per due sessi. Non ci sono serrature nei bagni non capisco davvero perché. Le docce erano davvero calde e la pressione era super forte. Il cibo al caffè era buono e i proprietari erano amichevoli. La cosa peggiore erano le sabbiette - ci stavano mangiando vivi. Era una battaglia. Là dove il danno di loro, il peggio che abbiamo mai sperimentato.

Questo posto è stato fantastico! Abbiamo guidato il nostro RV sul lotto superiore, accanto ai tavoli e abbiamo avuto una vista davvero bella sulle colline e sul fiume. Le strutture erano pulite, il ristorante era eccellente e il proprietario era anche super bello. Abbiamo camminato sul letto del fiume, godendo le viste e visto vermi brillanti di notte. Alcune moschee, ma avevamo un repellente e non eravamo morsi così tanto.

Sembrava un po' schizzo così ho finito per non rimanere qui dopo aver fatto un tour del luogo.

What a gem! $15 pp for the night, good kitchen facilities, warm showers and an epic view. Can grab some beers from the cafe and the food looked really good though didn't eat there. Great spot.

Good spot to stay. Lots of room to set up. Stayed one night and had no issues.

Let's start with the good points. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent, and the facilities are good, including a kitchen and toilet. It's a simple parking area with plenty of spaces. However, there are a lot of sandflies! It's almost impossible to get out of the car without getting bitten. Okay for the price.

Very very nice campsite. Friendly owner. The bar was relaxing, the drinks and food were cheap and delicious. The view from the bar was very nice. Campsite is just a large grass and gravel field, which does the job. Facilities are very basic, but for this price you usually don't get any facilities at all. Highly recommend for a one night stay.

Awesome spot with great views! Super friendly staff and situated perfectly next to the river. For $15 I'm extremely impressed! Looking forward to hitting the bar later! Super cheap drinks! Look out! Haha
