Fitzgerald Free Camping

Self contained RV site. Signs indicate rest spot off South Coast Hwy. Was an Old School site; there is an information board shelter regarding this. The old school hard court remains. There is some camping space next to this amongst the trees. Then there is a large area (the old school oval & cricket pitch) with ample room and ample shade from large trees around the edge. The site can be accessed of Fitzgerald Rd & Mistletoe Way. The birdlife is cheerful & at the right time some bush nearby for wildflowers. There is a nearby hall still in use. (The old school building is now located at 28 Dunn St Ravensthorpe as their CRCentre).
