Scenic Spots in Christchurch, Canterbury New Zealand
Nice, chilled out beach to spend an afternoon at. It's not suitable for large campervans as it's a skinny gravel road right next to a cliff.

A favourite place for locals. It has significance to Maori and has birds resting on the beach somewhere so there is meant to be no dogs or camping. Great for a day trip but the road can be bumpy as no. Not ideal for camper vans really.
Awesome beach, super warm water and sweet views. Saw cute seal pups ! Portaloo was good, space to park campers. Would reccomend!
Walked the scenic track from the top of Kinloch Rd down to the bay. Was a beautiful walk and we had the track to ourselves both ways. The water in the bay was clear and we had the beach to ourselves for a couple hours. Very highly recommended
Lovely quiet beach. Bit of drive and walk but well worth it. Swam with seals and fish
Nice beach, although many people were there you have enough privacy. When we were swimming, a Hector dolphin suddenly appeared two meters away from us! A great experience!
Awesome little sandy bay, great for beginner surfers, & to swim with some inquisitive seals & their pups!
