High Country Salmon

High Country Salmon is a boutique, 100% NZ family-owned salmon farm, situated on the glacial waters of the Mackenzie hydro canals, 3km south of Twizel. We do everything on-site, resulting in the shortest supply chain possible and the freshest salmon available.

Visitors to High Country Salmon have a range of things to do! Head to "Logans" floating Cafe for mouthwatering ready-to-eat foods including sashimi & sushi or order a more substantial meal from the kitchen. Choose a local wine or craft beer to complement your meal, or a delicious Allpress coffee. Fish feeding on the deck is free (or by donation to a local charity).

Our new Fish Shop has a wonderful variety of fresh, smoked and cured salmon - we even offer complimentary ice with your packaging. There is also a great range of deli foods, kitchenware and merchandise available.
