Tāhuna Beach Holiday Park is located 4.5 kilometres from Nelson city centre and adjacent to the long white sands of Tāhunanui Beach. It covers 54 acres of parkland that has been available for almost nine decades for holidaymakers to enjoy. Today Tāhuna Beach Holiday Park offers accommodation that suits most budgets – from unpowered campsites to cosy cabins to modern, fully self-contained motel units.

The holiday park’s location gives you direct access to the beach, playing fields and local beachside attractions.

There are plenty of fun activities and several recreation areas available around the park including giant versions of chess, draughts and connect-4, corn-toss, croquet, petanque and sand volleyball, several playgrounds, an 18-hole mini golf course, and an outdoor Amphitheatre for live music and other events. Use some of the open spaces in the Camp to set up your own games of footy, touch or backyard cricket. During our peak season (from around 27 Dec to the fourth week in January) we run a summer events programme and during school holidays throughout the year we also run events.

We are delighted to welcome four-legged guests between 1 Feb and 30 Nov in our Green (camping only) Zone. Our on-site café is dog-friendly, as is the section of public beach beside Green Zone, known as Back Beach.
