We hielden van deze plek zo veel dat we er twee keer verbleven! Er is veel ruimte, een toiletblok met stromend water en een picknickgebied met waterfontein. Er zijn geen douches en niet veel telefoonsignaal. Blijkbaar zijn er kroken in de rivier, maar we zagen er geen (wees voorzichtig!). We hebben geprobeerd vissen langs de rivier ( helaas geen geluk) en we gingen naar het strand om de zonsopgang te bekijken die heerlijk was. Het is het beste om online te boeken voordat je er komt - ik denk dat het gratis is om er 48 uur te blijven.

Stayed last night. Plenty of room. Felt safe. Water, toilets and play equipment for the kids. We did register with Council prior but there’s a QR code on board at entrance. No shops of any kind. Enjoy

It's really great that the town is so friendly and welcoming to campers. The site is very well-maintained and quiet, and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, there's no Telstra signal, but there are toilets and trash cans, plenty of picnic tables, and a BBQ. Be sure to reserve in advance.

Free but needs to be booked through Townsville council website. Flushing toilets, fires allowed, drinking water, playground, lots of covered seating, electric bbqs. It's a big space but very popular so still fairly full. Fishing from boat ramp next to camp site or head north along the beach to the gully. Crocs in area, very poor phone signal

We loved staying here! We stayed for two nights - you have to register with the Council however very limited reception on site so recommend doing before arrival :) no noise as its far off the highway big grassy area - might be more crowded on weekends

Geweldige gratis camping plek! Zeer schone voorzieningen, bbq's en picknick tafels. Zeer rustig en veel wilde dieren zoals kangoeroes, vogels en als gelukkige crocs. weinig telefoonsignaal afhankelijk van uw locatie (Telstra).

Lots of mosquitoes, barbecue, picnic table, wallabies, water fountain, toilet

Mooie plek. Veel mensen, ik parkeerde tussen de bomen voor meer privacy.

Het was ook leuk schoon gemakkelijk te krijgen.Een paar late nachten aankomsten.
